Some ropes can hold a lot of weight and black bears don't weigh tons. Plus, the rope in those pics looks pretty thick.

I wont say it's BS, but i will say i am highly skeptical, there's quite a few visual artifacts in the series of four pics for this (should have posted them all if you were going to post them), as well as some logical ones as well.
