M-1 Tanker (?) style rifle 4 sale

I've no idea if this is a mil conversion to .308 or not.

A nice 75-80% 27 1/2 " bbl, in cal 7.62 NATO (.308 Win). Has some minor glass work on the bottom of the stock in the charger clip area and a plastic hand guard over the bbl
According to www.armscollectors.com the SN 2094XXX is in a lot of M1's which went to the USMC, Camp Lejeune, NC in an unknown year.
Says "US Rifle - 30 M1 - Springfield Armory" at the back of the reciever.
