Anyone ever hunt or taken deer with a .44rem mag carbine rifle?

My brother does.
He's never kilt anything with it yet. Don't know if he can hunt, but he likes ta walk 'round in da woods

However my .450 Marlin is FANTASTIC !!!!
I'm takin it to B.C. this year ona MOOSE hunt !!!

Yes, Taken them up to 90 to 100 yds. with a Marlin and old Ruger both. Still have the Marlin and one of my favorite carry rifles in timber. Mine is of 72 vintage and loves almost any 240 gr. load.

Thanks for the replies. still kicking around the idea of a lever action marlin or win for plinking/deer/black bear in .44 rem mag.
