I noticed lilred has not been on in a couple weeks and icequeen has not been on in about 2 months.
I have missed the rant of the week.
I was hopeing to hear how the bears are doing the seasen should be just about here in ont.

Nods, i havent seen anything from icequeen in a long time now that you mention it.

Icequeen, Val and Lilred have all been a little quiet lately, prolly just all busy busy.

I'm here...just been real busy..got alot goin on. I got offered a job from a lumberyard a month ago, took that job. Hours are better..but it still seems like I dont have to do nothin.
My boy starts school Monday..6th grade..they put him in some perty hard classes..prealgebra bein one of em. He's bout as mortified as a 1 legged chicken in a fox hole..and I been studyin algrebra like a fool all over again so I can help him.

My Mama aint doin so good..her health is goin downhill perty fast..and we aint sure how much longer she got..course..as onry as she is..she should live to be 100. I dont think that's in the cards tho..if that's the case..I might disappear fer a while...that would be a tough pill to swaller.
I do actually have a rant..although..I aint much in the mood fer it..maybe tomorrow.

Icequeen's in the middle of her bear guiding season.

Val's in the middle of the hurricane season.

Lilred's just in the middle of everything.

Thoughts and prayers with you here too Lilred. Nothin more precious than ones mother. Cherish every moment you have with her and pray she lives to be 110. I been expecting to see a rant from you on the shelter for the illegal immigrant day workers.

My thought are with ya Lilred.

I'm here every day, mostly, just not a lot of time to post or get caught up in reading. It's been a really busy summer and it's lookin like fall/winter is gonna be even more hecktick.

Ah well...huntin season is upon us. Wohooooo!!!! Still have two more bear to get for the immediate family (hubby and daughter) and who knows how many other bear to track and clean.

Thanks everybody..I do appreciatte the kind werds...and Val honey, every single soul on this earth is a hero to somebody..and bless yer pea-pickin heart..I know you hold that title to many a person...
now..on a lighter note...yeeeehelllyeahhawww...huntin season is a comin as fast as Lee on the Yanks at Fredricksburg.
I am still in the process of preparin...caint seem to git the time..but this year..I vowed to git back into trappin..hard trappin. I figure..I got trappin in my veins and in my head..been trappin since I was old enuf to walk..I might as well pass it on down..and teach my hubby along the way.
I brought them ole traps down this am...they're old..almost too old... but I'm sure they'll werk just fine. I dusted em all off..and now gonna start pickin spots fer em. I seen one big ole beaver..he weighs at least 50 lbs..over at the river while I was fishin the other day..his butt (and the rest of him) will be on my ole stretcher fore Christmas.

If you get it red post a pick i havent been trapping for years i was
13 last time i did it.
I have been kicking around the idea of trapping off some coons frome the property we are seeing way to many coons and possoms.
