Help! Dominate eye changes!!

Help!!! I've just figured out why I've been shooting so radical! Shooting good groups then all of a sudden I'll shoot 4' to the left!! Some back ground)
1)I've been fighting wearing my glasses the last few years. I used to just not wear them but I realize now that I can't go with out.
2) Last year I'd be practicing and shooting ok when all of a sudden I couldn't see through the peep. I even had someone remove my glasses while I was at full draw and VOLA! the site picture returned. It didn't happen all the time.
3). I had a new string put on this year and didn't have the peep installed. I've been shooting close shots to shoot enough arrows to stretch the string before fine tuning. It was while doing this that I put 5 arrows in a nice group and then the next one was 4' to the left! I continued shooting and grouped all to the left. I swear my site picture looked the same and my aim point was the same. That was when I experimended closing one eye then the other. It's obvious my dominate eye was switching. Every test I ever took was consistant right eye dominate.
So I've been experimenting closing my left eye while shooting. Well without the peep in and anchoring the string on the tip of my nose the string is in the way for a good site picture. I've changed to anchoring to the side of my nose and that works a little better then tonight after a few shots I lost the site picture like in #2--
I'm freaking!! Deer and Elk seasons are on now in Oregon and I leave for a hunt in Idaho the 15th. and I don't feel confortable shooting at hay bales!!
I'm considering trying to shoot left eye dominate. when I close my rt eye it seems alot less obstructed. I looked at my sight and it won't adjust out that far. What about "no peep"? I just scanned a thread about them. Help I'm freaking!!

Maybe a Hindsight system??

I have heard alot of good reviews on the Hindsight system. It is basically a set of cross hairs that mount behind the sight. I am not sure if that will help, since I have not had the problem you are describing. Mybe if you could find one locally to just try out real quick?

Are you left or right handed?
Had you been shooting with both eyes open? If not, you might try that. Otherwise, maybe its time to see an opthamologist.
Sounds like a tough situation, good luck

Yes , I've always shot with both eyes open. I scaned through Cabelas Archery catalog last night and didn't see anything about extended sights for rt handed shooters with left eye dominate. I can't be the only guy to have faced this problem. I've heard of trap shooters putting a dot on their glasses. Today I'm going to call every shop I can. I feel really stupid going through this at this time of year. I should of shot more last year. 300 RUM, I'll try anything.

JCM,

Tons of them on ebay. I did a froogle search and the first 5 should give you what you need

I just had a strange thought my daughter was born premature and has problems with her eyes. To help excersize her eyes we cover one side of her glasses with a cling film. We switch it back and forth between her eyes. It is just lightly frosted so you can still somewhat see thru it but it makes one eye work harder. It may be the same thing as putting a dot on your glasses. I dont know for sure what it is called. I guess if you have tried shooting with one eye closed that it may not make a difference. I wish I could me more help.

Good Luck

Yesterday I put my peep back in and shot some. For now, with being aware of the problem , my shots were adiquate. I'm not at all confortable with finding the shot picture but I'm working through it. As long as I either close my left eye or squint, with a little effort I can line up the shot. I'm going to try contacts and a Hindsight soon.

Thanks to all.
