Attn: Police officers

I just got off the phone with a very close friend and he decided he is going to rnlist in the navy. This got me thinking about the direction I would like to go with my life. How do I combine my love of guns and shooting with a well paid, respected career. Police sniper. How difficult is it to become a police sniper as opposed to just a regular deputy? How does one get started?

I'm no expert, but I think you have to start on the ground floor and work yourself into the SWAT team. I don't think they just take anybody off the street to be a sniper.

Of course, I could be dead wrong, but I know that one of my buddies already on the force was trying to get on SWAT so he could do just that. He must have flunked the tryout because he is a terrible marksman.

Yup ya need to start with the basics and then after tons of mental tests maybe they will put you on.
First you need to be a Police Officer and then you go into the special areas.
