Best skeeter repellent!
Ok guys some of you may know about this, but for those bow hunters that don't........ the Thermacell Mosquito repellent works!!!!!!!! It is a little bugger that has sketter repellent on these mats that are activated by a butane cell that heats them up. you just push the little igniter and set it down on the platform of your stand. and if you are worried about the deer, the Doe I saw did not affect her, sher came within 7 yds before she made my butt
 , But that is anouther story . I did not have 1 skeeter the whole night (4 hours in the stand) I used NO bug spray to see how well it would work. I got mine at WallMart for 24 bucks. So if you don't have one, get one it is worth the 24 bucks 100 times over.Note to mods: I am going to post this in bow hunting and gadgets forums.

A friend of mine's been using that, or something similar, for about a year and a half now. He uses it mostly for turkey hunting in the spring-when both mosquitos and black flies are out.
He absolutely loves the thing.

I've seen them advertized and wasn't real sure if they worked as well as what they claimed. Thanks for the info! Hey, how is early season going for you?

Just had the one oppertunity to go out so far. My mother Passed away this past June so, I don't have someone to watch the kids for me so I can go after work like I have in the past. But I'll get plenty of chances to go.
How is yours going?
