YES WE WERE UP ON THE HAUL ROAD AND ABOUT 15 MILES FROM IT ON THE IVASHAK. THAT NIGHT A GRIZZLY VISITED AND GOT HIS TUNDRA TAX...LOST ABOUT 1/3 OF A HIND QTR.
IBWHNT ALSO GOT A CANADA GOOSE , TWO PINTAILS AND 2-3 PTARMIGAN WITH HIS BOW. PLUS A RUFFED GROUSE ON THE DRIVE HOME. I GOT PINTAIL, GREATER SCAUP AND 4 PTARMIGAN WITH MY BOW MOST OF THEM AT 30 YARDS BUT MISSED A 'BOU AT 30.

Great animal. Sounds like you had a good time. At least you got a misxed bag without the skunk. Hunting with friends is always a good time.

Beautiful animal and beautiful photo too.

That's really open country from the looks of that photo. How did you get close enough to that Boo to poke him with that pointy stick? That's impressive to a guy like me that can't get within a rifle's distance of an animal!
