hey man rubs is the word you are looking for, and they start doing it in the early rut and throughout the rut. a scrape is on the ground, they start that at pretty much the same time as the rubbing. it is always good to find a good rub line and hunt it, just be sure not to contaminate the area with your scent. and dont overhunt it. as for a scrape, you can hunt those too, i killed a nice buck coming to check his scrape last year. you can determine how big he is by the size of the rub or scrape,so if you find a good one, hunt it. hope this info will help ya toward killin the big one, good huntin!
