Charles Dailey Mausers

Anybody own any of these?
KBI Charles Dailey mausers. They
are very inexpensive. Around
$300 gets a 308 win on a mauser
action. Just wondering what the
quality is.

if it's a mauser action it's got to be good. but i'm very prejudiced.

mauser actions are becoming very scarce. that is a very good price. grab it, even if you only use the action and build another gun or rebarrel it.

I have a Zastava action, which is the same, but without the Daly trademark.

It is a good, solid action. If you just want a good, basic rifle, it is fine. If you want it smooth as silk, plan on a little internal polishing to finish it up.
