Deer season is finally here!!!!!
I don't know about anyone else, but the temperatures have dropped from 98 degrees last week to a high of 50 degrees today. What a difference a week makes. Early season movement should be good this weekend, and I can't wait to get in the stand.
Quick question: Has anyone ever had a pass thru shot, and found the arrow with absolutely no blood on broadhead, arrow, vanes? A buddy of mine said he's seen it, but I've never heard of such thing. |

The temp has dropped from the low to mid 80's into the 50's here in Indiana. It's supposed to be down around 40 in the morning.
I am also looking forward to getting out this weekend. It was to hot last weekend for me. I have had a complete pass through and only showed a slight amount of blood on my vanes. I was suprised too. Good Luck

Well temps in this area are from cold to hot depending on the hour lol. I have three tags and need to get the heck out there before the hot temps are gone.

AK,
Sorry to say, No it was not recovered. I may have pushed the deer in my excitement. I knew I made a good shot and heard the deer crash. Got down too soon I think. Went to where she crashed and it looked like a hog had been slaughtered. No deer! Walked about 5 yards, blood everywhere, sprayed on weeds 2 feet off the ground on both sides of the trail. No deer. I did not find another spot of blood. My brother and I spent nearly 5 hours looking for more sign and could not. Sad day. I hated it that I had to leave this deer to die.
