FINALLY!! Stuck one...

Well I have been on a mission for the last 4 years or so to stick a hog with my bow. I have a few P/Y whitetails on the wall and have shot pretty much every thing but a turkey or a hog with an arrow. It FINALLY Happened tonight. I shot this 150# sow at my lease. I have hunted 3 times this last week and the 2 other times I have seen this sow , a 100# boar and about 11 -45 to 50# pigs coming into my main feeder. I was winded the first trip. The second trip the feeder didn't go off so they stayed in the brush but tonight I scored.

I shot her at 22 yards and she turned towards me after I shot and the arrow just clipped the top of one of her lungs. Good pass through and 25 minutes later I went walking and found her standing in the middle of all those 50 pounders. She saw me and started coming my way from 30 yards out and I drew back and hit a branch and glanced the arrow off of her nose/head. She did a circle and went into some thick cedar trees. The shoats hauled but.. I knocked another arrow and got about 20 yards from her and she jumped back up and bluff charged me and went back into the brush. I could only see her upper neck so I let em' fly. Arrow #3 passed through and she never even moved. The last arrow I had was actually the arrow that initially passed through her on the very first shot. I knocked that arrow and shot her in the left side of the head and she went out after that.. All in all it was expensive(3 arrows /3 broadheads toasted) hunt but it was really cool to finally stick my first hog. I have drawn back on at least 6 hogs at this lease but they are all so smart from being hunted so much that it is very hard to outsmart them. I hope to stick a couple more of those shoats this week . I will post some pics if I score again..Adios' for now.
