New bow hunter

I am pretty new to the whole bow hunting thing and I just set up a blind on a trail that seemed to be well used. The only problem is that since i have been there I have only seen one deer and it was a doe when i was putting up the ground blind. It has a little pond about fifty yards away but i havent seen anything since the first day. What might I be doing wrong?

make sure the trail or direction the deer travel isn't downwind. If you put the blind up recently, it may take a while before they get used to it being there, give it time.

Contrary to popular hunting shows, deer don't appear everyday and where you want them.
Just be patient, take Feathermax and others advise, and success will come. I've taken my share of deer over the years, and feel I can read an area fairly well. But I still have days I don't see a deer. Heck, out of 6 times in a stand this year, I have only seen 2 deer during shooting light (and they were together).
