what can i shoot with this .357?

deer season is over and i got an itch to take something with this 4" GP100. what critters have you guys taken with this or similar handgun and .38spcl or .357mag?

Anything up to and including deer. Check your local regs to see if there are minimum barrel restrictions, as some states don't allow short-barreled handguns for hunting big game. Keep your shots fairly close, and it will do the trick.

Oh gee, lets see here...

Cottontails with 38s (either the wimpy 158 roundnose or the better SWC).

Coyotes and such (which includes badgers, groundhogs and raccoons) with the 357 and darn near any bullet but 125 JHPs preferred

Inside-the-barn pigeons and rats with shot loads (fun!)

Skunks and (he changes to a furtive whisper)

feral cats

To paraphrase some dumb movie line: Wear it and the targets will come.
