few years ago I bought one...used it to locate a deer tracking it at dark...well never did find it that night and next morning continued tacking ....with the new toy in tow...when did find the deer, it would go off when I could see the deer....but when behind a tree or bush, it not work...so I returned it..so my thoughts are if you can see the deer with the naked eye, why point the finder at it?....save your money...look for a different toy...
field tested...not worth it.
