KT,

I watched the game, and remember why I cannot stand watching football any more. It seems as though way too many games are decided by referees nowadays. In the Skins game today, there was a bad call on a long bomb by Tampa to the Skins 5 yard line that was ruled a catch because the defender pushed the receiver out. The play is not reviewable, but upon instant replay it didn't even look like the defender touched the receiver. Then there was the 2 point conversion by Alstot where the instant replay showed his elbow, on the arm he was carrying the ball, touching the ground well before the goal line. There is no possible way the ball could have crossed the goal line until after he was down, but the refs even managed to screw up that call. When Joe Gibbs questioned the refs several weeks ago after a game (i.e., bad mouthed them), he was fined several thousands of dollars.

Personally, I just cannot stand watching sports anymore with athletes like TO playing and refs screwing games up left and right. Sad thing is that it is even with the aid of instant replay. I won't even get into baseball and how many times I have seen the umps screw things up.

I've gotta admit McPat,

Although I am a Bears fan (Da-Bears! ) I thought that they would be handed their hynies yesterday facing their first decent team this season. The NFC North is pretty weak. The Bears defense did play very well!
