Back from Colorado Cow Elk Hunt

Just returned from our annual Colorado cow elk hunt. We shot six for six. But, the weather was awful. We had to contend with 60 degree days. The elk were high and we had to go up to get them.

We hunted near the Craig area. This time of year we usually see a lot more elk than we did this year. We still had a great time and I wouldn't miss it for the world!

Glad to hear it, sounds like you'll be eating well. Even when there are lots of animals it's hard to go 6 for 6 on public land. You probably drove pretty close by me on your way home. You wouldn't like the roads here in western MN today - blizzard conditions.
