Firearm trade show

Just curious ... what's considered the nations largest firearm trade show?

I mean is there a "Big Daddy of them all"? The one where all the companies show up with the new stuff, etc.

That would be the SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trades). It's sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.

It is held annually, usually in February. This year it will be held in Las Vaegas again.

Big? They badge about 30,000 individual exhibitors. That's not attendees, that's people working the booths. There are eight miles of aisles, lined on both sides by display booths. If you allotted equal time to every booth, and were present for every minute of the four-day show, you'd have about 14 seconds for each booth.

The public is not allowed in, or it would be even more of a madhouse. You must be an FFL holder, an employee of an FFL holder, an industry writer or a reporter to attend.

I go most years, as a rep of E.A.R. Inc the earplug people. But I never get out of our own booth (typical of most exhibitors).
