Thumbs up New to the board

Just wanted to say hi to all. I checked out this site for the first time today and decided to get on. There seems to be some good conversation and knowledgable people on here.
I frequent the MonsterMuleys.com website and I couldn't get enough of the hunting forums on one site so here I am.
I also hang out on the Military.com website.

Glad you'll be joining us. I love to get through Riverton whenever I can, I've seen a lot of your town because sometimes I miss the turn on 26. Saw your buck picture that you posted, very nice - post some more pictures if you've got em.

Welcome aboard. You're not too far from in in-laws' summer place in Lander. Pretty area.

Hey Tater, I grew up in Lander then moved to Riverton and finished high school here. Still know quite a few people in Lander.

Valigator, I have a brother that lives in Melbourne. Didn't Florida change their name from the Sunshine State to the Plywood State?

We take our boys there every summer to hang with the Grandparents for a couple weeks and we always do the pick up to coincide with the 4th of July because their parade is so great.

Val, it's just across the river west of Jackson on the south side. I've hunted with an outfitter based out of Wilson, he does a lot of fly fishing out of that area too. You go through Wilson on your way to Teton Village from Jackson, you don't even know you left one town and entered the other. Beautiful country, I've taken a couple family vacations there too.

We have a client who lives there and last night I received the most beautiful belt buckle from him...Stirling silver, turquoise with a huge mountain lion claw in the center. Its gorgeous...I believe this guy builds spec homes all around the country. He invited us to come out and hunt there. He calls that area "Gods Country".

I dont know..I am leavin that aspect to my guy and him, I know the guy spends a good part of his winter here in Lauderdale...so I would assume it would be whenever it was convenient to this man. Personally I am not a cold weather hunter but he says the elk are abundant on the property so I guess I'll play the good little girlfriend and when he tells me to pack I will....
