Installed a Rifle Basix trigger

Wanted to get my 222 a new trigger and since I had some Cabela's points decided to try an LV-1 manufactured by http://www.riflebasix.com/
Have never played with a rifle trigger before and was a little apprehensive due to the "safety" issue. Turns out it really wasn't that big of a deal. The process took about 25 minutes. It didn't help when I forgot how to put the bolt stop and safety back together. Broke down my 308 and used that as my guide.
From the instructions sheet, Rifle Basix seems to assume that you have a photographic memory of how all the parts fit together. They could do a better job in the photo illustrations department for beginners like myself.
The trigger is listed at being factory-set to break at 10-12oz and this one consistently breaks at 15oz via my Lyman digital gauge. http://www.midwayusa.com/rewriteaproduct/220725
After the install, I bump tested the rifle and shut the bolt quickly as if I was trying to get back on a groundhog after missing twice already (Btw, the bolt handle didn't fall off. ) There were no issues with the firing pin dropping.
Can't wait to get it to the range and it should help to improve accuracy. If this trigger works out, I'll be adding an LV-1 to my 22-250 and and an L-1 to the 308.

Skinny,

I'm gonna be rebarreling a REM 700 from 338 Win to 338 RUM and the REM trigger sux really bad. Nothing like the one on the old 721s and 722.

Will want a trigger in pounds not ounces. I put a Timney on my Mauser many years ago. With the added confidence of knowing that someone who can't keep the bolt handle on can do it, I'll proceed. I even have the cabela's points.

Not to hijack this thing: I like what you did for Richard. The Win bbl I'm replacing shoots the 252s in the 5s at 200 but the RUM will let me reach out and touch.

My 700 is LH. Any problem with that bolt handle.
