Several years ago I predicted that another one of these grizzly-cuddlers would get tooled.Is it just me,or does the author of the article dismisses this as an aberration?I haven't seen the movie yet, but I hear it doesn't have a happy ending.I guess I should feel sorry for him, poor chap.
Better off pestering penguins (although being mauled by a penguin would be pretty humiliating.)

No one will ever know what possessed the bear to kill Tim and Amie the evening of October 5. It is possible that it was a bear that Tim had never met.

I have read a little about the situation and the movie. I beleive the man was mentally ill, probably manic depressive. As for the unfortunate woman, the same explanation that fits women who are talked into violent situations by husbands and boyfriends fits her.

It is always sad whenever one these people find out where we are in the food scale when in the wilderness.

The tradgedy here is that this moron and his mentally deficient girlfriend are being portrayed in the national media as being "in touch" with nature and a step above all of us, when actually they were just chlorinated out of the gene pool. If you're dumb enough to play with grizzlies, sooner or later you'll wind up being dinner - simple as that.
