last squirrel hunt of the season !!!!!!!

well, i just back in from the last squirrel hunt of the season. me, my dad, and our pup killed one today. we have had a good season, about 50 squirrels on 80 acres. we have got plenty stocked up till next season. my dog has helped us get many toward the end of the season. shes a beagle, but she knows how to work the squirrels. any one post here, and tell your stories
or you can just tell how your season went. bye for now !!!!!!!!

its been a pretty sore season for me....about 200 acres out on my farm and its been some pretty cold weather wich makes the squirrels huddle up in there little nests for boddy heat...kinda stnks for me....

Will be my first day hunting tree rats tomarrow. I like to wait till the first freeze but it has deen 40 degrees several days now and the bugs will be down.

Good season here this year. Seemed like there was a big nut crop and lots of squirrels. I didn't hunt a lot this year, but one morning I shot the limit (5) with a .22 and didn't stand up of my little stool I sit on one time. I always promise myself next year I'm gonna hunt more, but seems like I never do.

I took off all week so attempt ssome bowhuntin..but i'm dedicatin at least 1 day to huntin bushytails. I need all I can git....makin brunswick stew the end of this month
