Locals will never win in an e-mail battle against a national group, it is juat the math. States have not won against the feds in the wolf war yet. Best hope is a few years out in my opinion, when the feds can't find any reason not to let them be killed like cougars and bear are now.

Thumbs down Big game fodder for Wolves

Only the people of Idaho should decide what happens, not the Federal Gov't, but we kinda figured this would happen from the beginning. We stopped the reintroduction of the Red Wolf here. Seems the Red Wolf is a hybred and not a pure bred species. Just another varmit to some, but at the expense of the wests declining Elk and Deer.

News cast this morning stated that the wolf count is over 1000. 512 of these are in Idaho. The next smaller number was MT with WY trailing w/200+

Will scrounge around for the info source

There was an article in the paper today blaming Wyoming for the Feds not delisting the wolf. Says that the Feds won't delist because Wyoming wants to basically have a wide open season on them.

We have the same problem in Michigan we can't get them delisted either. Some on shot one and hung it on the sign in front of a DNR office in the UP. I guess they forgot the middle S in SSS

Looks like the President is going to take the grey wolf off of the endangered species list.
