What do you mean by "make" your own targets? I have some pdf files of targets that you are more than welcome to. I believe i have one that prints out on an entire 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper and another that prints 4 targets on the same piece of paper. Last but not least, I think I have another that prints a prairie dog on that same size paper. The only program you would need to print them is Adobe Reader, and you can download that program for free if you do not already have it on your computer.

Let me know if you want me to e-mail them to you. If you are looking for something more, I can't give you any help.

Muledeer,

That site is pretty good for targets. I saved a couple for myself.

Captain,

E-mail has already been sent to you. Hope it is what you are looking for. If not, check out the site that Muledeer posted.

My favorite target is a 2.5" black square with a one inch white square in the middle. Once I had one made up, I went to a copy place and had them run off 500 targets. When I get low, I get another 500. IIRC, it's about $33.00 and change for 500 targets. that's about 6.6 cents a target. I haven't had time to do much shooting lately, but when I'm doing my normal shooting routine, 500 targets last about 6 to 7 months, sometimes less. I handle my handgun targets the same way. The more you have printed up, the less per target they cost.

By the way, there are a ton of targets listed on this thread. I have download almost all of them, and it will be many weeks before I have the time to actually go through them all and pick out the ones I like.

Me, I print my targets right from my computer and it probably costs me less than 2 cents for a target. Seems like targets cost me about the same amount as people's opinions.

Thumbs up Target Right Handed PDF

Reloadbench had good stuff. Love the above mentioned. I figure any Adobe software would work to draw your omn targets. The best would be any version of Photoshop or Illustrator. Even if you have an old PC it probably has "Paint" on it in the Accessories or Multimedia menus inside your programs menu. You'll find it. Just format your pages to be 8.5x11 and draw away. I make little birds and bunnies, you can cut and paste photos of animals too. Anything goes as long as you have the right paper configuration(11x14 would be awsome), enough ink, and you hit the targets.
