My brother lives up there and I was wondering about laws for out of staters concerning coyote shooting.

Do I just need a small game license or do I need a fur bearer tag too?

What's the rules?

I was in Minnesota last couple of days and stopped at Cabelas and inquired with folks there about Minnesota regs which read similar to Wis and they all told me that a small game tag was all you needed.

To hunt, you would need a non resident small game hunting lic. Come on up lotsa coyotes in most areas of the state.
