the new barnes mrx bullets look like keepers! old bullets have worked just fine, but mrx, accubond, winchesters new ones, should all work just a tad better overall..........don't ya think?

Accubonds work better than Ballistic Tips for me so far.

I have avoided X bullets since a go around with them a decade ago when they fouled up barrels and the petals blew off at high velocity.

I also have read of many failures of X bullets to expand due to damage to the tiny monolithic hollow point. I feel that a lead core might expand with a folded in hollow point but not a solid copper bullet.

In any case I might try the MRX bullets when the are available as I feel that the plastic meplats will help them expand and make the inflated ballistic coeffients somewhat believable.
