rant

i just seen someone in another post use the word rant, and that got me to thinking, watch out folks this could be dangerous.

where in the heck is lilred? haven't heard anything from her lately? her posts always brightened my day.

she said she was going to post some christmas photos of lilred jr. after christmas, don't recollect seeing any. just wanted to see what all that little sweetie pie talked ol' santa out of. seeing her takes me back about 45 years when my oldest daughter was that age. same red hair and same "ain't i the most important person on earth look" on her face.

anybody know anything?

thanx

I had the same thought recently. Perhaps she got a full time job writing dialogue for screenplays. She is a master in the written use of the vernacular. (It's not easy, try it sometime).

In any event, I hope she is well and happy.

hi

another one that fell into that category was earschplitinloudenboomer.

lilred and him can write a story and keep you on the floor laughing.

i know lilred is employed and a full time mom also. thats a tough job. i know, i was widowed and had five kids to ramrod. tain't an easy task. sometimes ya feel like jumping in a hole in the ground and zipping it shut. quality time and privacy are non existant.

well, hope everything is ok with her and she gets back to us soon.

Howdy

Billy, I got yer email thanks fer askin. I been doin ok...cept fer Mama got sick. She's 68 and she caint do what she used to do her mind is slippin some ...then she turned arond and fell...broke her hip and all that. Jeff had a great aunt and a uncle pass away to boot. It's been a rough ride the past few months.

The good news and updates is that I got me some new huntin land...alot of it..fixin on headin out Saturday mornin and might git me a gobbler! The lil Lilred is half as tall as me already, and she jst turned 2 in Jan. I'll take some pics over the weekend to show ya'll. "Yosemite Samantha" fits her more than it does me...and that aint no joke

I even brought some new beagles to the place..and a half beagle half basset hound called Suzie. She got a voice on her too...she just had pups w/ a 13" warfield red I got. Pertiest pups you ever done saw...one is even a smokey grey color.

I aint got nary an idea why nobody aint fired me from the retail world yet...but they aint. Still at the lil lumberyard..but we been so busy...I aint even got the time to cuss no customers.

I even went high falootin in January and got me a laptop. Still aint used to it yet..but I'm gettin there. Anyways, I got aol & msn instant messenger at work...and I'm at the puter alot at work..ya'll can add me er vice versa..a good way to keep in touch!
I'll be round here more often..time to settle in and git back to basics.....

AtM was right, Lilred. You could be West Virginia's Dave Barry if you wanted.

You really are a great humor writer. All you'd have to do is submit a few (about 800 words long) and you'd be on your way.

Val gal...it's mighty good to see you! I hope everything is farin well in yer neck of the sunny South.
And I reckon I can come up with somethin bout yer letter. I'd spect it'd go somethin like this:

Dear Editor;
Let's simplify this here immigration subject a lil bit.....

Iffin they work as hard as they say they do, how come they're the only fools takin off work to protest? I caint take offa work to vote, much less take off to whine bout why I caint get a free ride no more.
And I dont wanna hear nary a word bout them payin taxes and we caint survive without em. First off...non-citizens dont pay no taxes...cause on counta Uncle Sam caint find em to beat the taxes outta them. And let's see here...this country has been "Americanized" since the 1600's. You meanin to tell me that we caint survive all by our lonesome fer another 600 years?
They're always sayin on the news that Americans are the most overworked fools on the planet. But we need some illegal to do our work? Never have fore.
Only thing they do is construction anyways..which is our worst problem anyhow...you ever see one in suit & tie? So in my opinion, they're just addin to the problem. I work a 50 hour a week job, got 2 kids, 10 dogs and a house payment like the rest of us...why in tarnation would I wanna dish out my hard earned money to a leech? Speakin of hard earned, I gotta fumble my way through every week dealin with them same idgits who dont know nary a bit of English. You ever heared a Southerner try to talk Mexican? It just dont work. Way I see it...they best be talkin my language in my country. And iffin they dont like it...they can "ondelay ondelay areba!" right on back where they come from.
Written in god ole Southern English,
Lilred

What ya think Val?? Shoot...that might even make it to the President's desk
