Question loads for h&r buffalo classic

iam looking at getting a h&r buffalo classic in 4570,i wish to use this on australia's big game buffalo,scrub bulls,camel,donkey's ect.most loads i find are for 24in barrels,iam sure fine tuneing for the 32in barrel will give better results,any info would be much appreciated,and save me money on powder.hi to all .ps any recommended bullets?thanks deadkelly.

First, a warm Yank welcome!

I'm not sure what bullets you might have available to you down under, so I can't make a specific recommendation. I would, however, stay away from any hollowpoint designs. You'll lack penetration on those tough beasties you have. Stick with a tough softpoint.

You can ignore the barrel length difference. You'll not get much added velocity with the .45-70 simply because it has such a hich expansion ratio to start with. Perhaps 10 fps per inch is all. Use the loads as recommended by your manuals and tweak the loads by adjusting seating depth and crimp versus none.
