Smile The new picture thread...

I got to browsing the picture thread in the archives and its been two years since anyone has posted any pictures. We need a current picture thread.

Edit: I know the dates are jacked up. My camera doesn't like staying on the current date.

Me last week waiting in line at a Turbid North/Godsmack concert at the Carlson Center.

After the concert with some random guy who I drew blood on earlier in the pit. He thought it was halarious so we hung out afterwards and had a few brews.

Picture my bassist John took at about 1:00am.

Thanks M.T. I had a few problems here in Alaska so I moved to Texas for 10 months and finished up my college classes down there. Things are better now and I'm back home in Alaska. Are those walleye I spy? *drool*

^Madman, wasn't that for locks-of-love? I think I remember you mentioning that before.

Deerhuntinggirl,

Since nobody has welcomed you to the board yet, WELCOME. That is a great buck. Is there any story behind getting it? I hunted deer for 10+ years before I got my first antlered buck, and I had plenty of stories without even getting a buck. Of course, after I got my 7 pointer 4 years ago, the very next year I shot an 11 pointer and an 8 pointer.

Here is a pic of me with the 7 pointer, but it is from 4 years ago.

Wow. Thanks for the welcome! There is a long story behind him. It was rut and he was in the wide open chasing a doe. We were finished with our morning hunt and were about to go get lunch. I looked up at the food plot and there he was chasing his lady. I said, "Good God!". I dropped to one knee and shot but he kept chasing. I knew I had hit him because I saw blood. The guy I was with just stood there. I yelled, "SHOOT!" He finally shot, but missed. I chambered another shell and shot again and he turned and ran straight for me. I managaed to shoot once more and get him in the neck. That shot took him down but he was still trying to get up. He was wanting some booty! That deer is once in a lifetime for Alabama. We don't see those much around here. The only other 2 deer I've killed is a doe and a spike. My goal is to get one with my bow.

Pretty rack on your deer by the way!
