Which of course is horse malarky. If you go to their page and log in then they have your username and password. If I knew who to report this garbage to I would.

Be careful out there.

I got the same type of email telling me that I'd won a $500 gift certificate for Home Depot. Almost fell for it, too

if you are that dedicated to the cause i know from personal experience that states attorney generals are interested in these matters.

i sent two of these scam deals to mine that regarded banking institutions.

these things really target old people and this state has a bunch of them, including me. we all know that the government encourages automatic deposit to a bank account for checks.

old folks that are somewhat computer literate get one of these messages and go sub-orbital ballistic and start answering any message that comes their way, including their blood type and religous preference.

north dakota does put public service announcements on tv to help stem these activities.

i'm lucky in that my i/p provides a spam filtering system, but some underhanded users even have developed ways of by-passing those. however they never show up more than once.

caution, if you absitively posilutely don't know who you are dealing with, delete them.

paypal and ebay while owned togeather actually have seperate reporting addresses, spoof@ebay.com and spoof@paypal.com

granted either will get to the other, it'll just be abit slower, but speed helps alot when they are tryign to naildown someone whos spamming, and using and discarding hundreds if not thousands of email and isp addresses a day.

Ebay nor PayPal will ever address you by "Customer" "Friend" "Ebay member" or "Dear PayPal." They will always use the name your account is registered in. The emails are getting very good: just like the real one's in look and verbiage. Report them and never click on any link, or never reply to them. Some are password stealers and all you have to do is hit the Reply button to steal your p/w. If you have any doubt about the authenticity of an email, just call Ebay/PayPal. Keep frosty! grayghost
