What happened to this place?

I hadn't been on here in a long while, but this place sure used to be a bit more lively, what happened??

I think it's George Bush's fault

Good to see you back.

Yeah, it seems to have slowed down a little over the summer, but it should start picking up as the season moves along.

Personally, I think it is Bill Clinton's fault. LOL

i visit a few forums and they are all kind of, let us say, less lively right now.

the only parts that seem to get a lot of notice are the political portion of the forums. my stomach is easily upset anyway and i really don't partake in that ranting and raving. i'm set in my ways and listening to other people pee and moan is not my cup of tea.

things will pep up for hunting season. although archery season has alreday started in a lot of places. i was out nosing aroud the other day and the bucks are already assembled together around here. so that's a good sign.

Cool, I was just hoping it wasn't like something that happened over at shooterstalk.com some years back. Not even sure they are still around.

I've noticed that this site always slows down a bit just before hunting season. It should start picking up shortly as folks get some huntin stories. I'm not sure if I'm going to hunt this year so I'll have to live vicariously through others
