Lilred is sorry....
I aint forgot bout nobody...been a whirlwind the past few months and the drama dont seem to stop!
oh well...I'm glad to see everyone and hope things have been goin good fer all. Today is the first day of dove season..and here i sit with a terrible cold/flu thingy. Feel perty miserable...but the 10" of rain we got yesterday probaly aint helpin the dove today noways. I been tryin to prepare tho...been shootin some terrible amounts of skeet this summer. The Lil Lilred even pulls the traps fer us. She aint quite 3...but she loves pullin them strings and she'll holler "Good shootin Mama!" I will tell ya'll now..she'll have a gun in her hand fore no time. She loves to watch the huntin shows too...and the first thing she says when we see a deer cross the road is "Shoot it Mama, shoot it!" Wild as a buck she is...with red hair and enough energy to single-handedly whoop the Union army. But she's a good kid. The dogs are rarin to go too...even the now 15 year old hardheaded Scooter. I got a basset this spring...her name is Suzy. She's a good dog but a bit hard-headed...her and my 13" warfield red had a most beautiful litter of pups. (Ya'll want some?) The "Jeneral" (the big truck I was fxin on) has never been completely finshed. The motor is a whomper tho...just lacks body work. I decided to put it up for sale after I got my new truck. I'll have to get out and take some pics and post em for ya'll...iffin I ever get better and the weather breaks...I'll sling a few more skeet so I can get a pic of Jessica pullin the shooters....ya'll would git a huge kick outta that kid! I am back..and will stay back...I miss all you good folks! Oh well...looks like I got a few rants to catch up on...hmmmm

Lilred, glad to see you on the board and to hear that things are getting back to normal for you.
Don't worry about not being able to hunt today, because you are better off in bed. I went out for 2 hours in what started as a drizzle, with the hope that it would clear up. Killed two birds in those two hours and decided to leave when it started raining a lot harder and absolutely nothing was moving. I get home, clean off mine and my dad's guns, take a nap, and wake up to a sunny blue sky. Such is life. The weather should be better by Monday. Good luck with everything and I cannot wait to hear the next rant of the week.

Thanks everyboy..dam straight it's good to be back
 Fabs, all plans are fer huntin tomorrow. I feel a lil better today but I tire out real easy...I took Wild Woman (english pointer) out fer a run this mornin to prepare her fer tomorrow. We're headin to a new cut cutover tomorrow...not a famous dove hangout..but it's very close to home and takin some freinds so a good time is sure to be had by all. I been seein some dove there...if it turns out to be a flop..I'll head out to the farms on the other side of Farmville and try my luck there. Rubicon..the new Lilred wheels is a 2001 dodge 4x4 w/ 60,000 on it. Perty hefty truck..towin package and a bunch of fancy crap I aint learned how to use yet. I aint want a dodge...but hubby werks at the dodge dealership..he can fix all the computer crap on it..and we got a good deal. Hell naw...I aint sell my Chevy...and I aint a gonna either. That truck still purrs like a kitten and will git me anywheres I need ta go. Have to say i was dissaponted with the new truck..even with all it's fancy gadgets...aint that terrible? The old truck has 285,000 on it...and the dodge gits the same gas mileage and aint got the power the old truck has. That sucks! The new dodge got a 318 and the chevy a 350. Still sucks...pourin alot of money into a slow gas-guzzler...lol Oh well...it's mighty perty...and it's got fancy crap on it
