I got it
I sold my VS 22-250.
And... what with all the talk about Remmy 700 bolt handles falling off and their lousy accuracy I bought a Remmy VSSF-II in 22-250 from Cabela's . Nice rifle btw. That way, within 30 days I can work up some loads and cycle that bolt hard. If it shoots badly and/or the bolt breaks, they'll take the gun back. What a return policy It had some minor blemishes on the barrel so they gave me $50.00 off. Also had a card from Cabela's (I'm a Club card member) for an additional $150.00 in store credit if I spend over $500 smackers. Can't wait to get to the range this weekend. And I'm still stuck at 8 skinnys for the year.

Being very short on time I broke down and bought some remington varmint loads. Went to the range last Saturday to sight-in and the gun is half moa at 100. I think it shoots better than that but I was in a hurry. Ok, I had skinny fever and was a bit excited.
Then went right to the killing fields and blooded it on two chucks. Bounced one in the air at 87 yards... Since then I've got some new Win brass prepped for reloads.

Skinney,
Tou sound like a kid with a new toy. Sounds like a keeper.
