Ya'll aint gotta read all 30 some pages...but ya'll can kinda figure ...Virginia..apologizin fer slavery? We are the "source" fer slavery? This oughta be my rant of the week...but this would set me off like a butane lighter on a woodstove...and I aint goin there ...not tonight anyways...lol But...I caint go without sayin...that the day women quit beiotchin is the day Lilred apologizes fer salvery..and partner...you can bet yer next week's pay on both of em

Ya know what. I have had enough. Slavery slavery slavery. . . . . not ONE living person today in the US was a US slave, but guess what? We still have THOUSANDS of livin people (like my grandfather) who were sharecroppers and weren't treated as good as a danged slave ever was. Ya want me ta give ya somethin' fer 100 years of slavery? How about my boot in yer keister? Get off yer lazy tails and get the hell back to work! My family has been workin' themselves to death for generations while these people ***** about somethin that didn't involve them! Ya got no sympathy!

My family has only been here for a little over 50 years, and slavery wasn't around then, so I'm not responsible for it at all. Plus, there weren't any slaves in Italy, unless we go back to the Roman times. I think they made slaves out of some of the people they conquered. Those slaves were white though.
Yeah, terrible things have happened throughout history and they will continue to happen. Such is life.

Im not appologizing either. Seems like a week never goes by without hearing this junk working in DC. Worked for a lady (said loosely) thursday that after I had completed my job and handed her the bill she said "The only way WE are going to get what we deserve is to have another riot" I really wanted to say what was on my mind but I make far too much money to jepordize my job by making a racist comment. Now if I was a little bit older I would have said what I thought- probably lost my job- retired to Florida- and spend my days hunting ducks-gators-wild hogs- and fishing. Now how bad could that possibly be? I do believe that slavery was wrong and fed by greed but after some reading have learned that there were white slaves here and that one of the key developers years ago in Annapolis Md was an escaped white slave. Also learned Lincoln was not necessarily anti slavery but just wanted it settled with the west becoming populated. What I dont quite understand is why was the 30 acres, as per the emancipation proclomation, always given close to the road?

This here is another good example of how things work round here...Sen George Allen...they're bustin on him for sayin the racist comment ...now the Sons of Confederate Vets are mad at him cause he says he denonces the rebel flag....blah..blah..blah
it never ends here in va.well ya know what?? The whole thing...like usual...is stupid. I could care less as long as can do his job..and he's already proven that. Ya know...people gotta git over this crap..how many time have we been called honkeys, crackers and so forth? It's totally a 2 way street...and one word spoken by a human bein that makes human mistakes is not the end of the world. But...cause he's from the "slave capital of the us" it all goes to hell in a handbasket. I tell ya...this will go on fer generations in this state...

Yeah, the Senate race in VA is getting pretty ugly. I truly hate when the other side resorts to name calling and tries to use the voting public's bias against a candidate. Along with bringing up the fact that Allen was involved with the confederate flag in some manner, they even brought up the fact that Allen is half jewish, and I have no idea what either issue has to do with what he has done while in office. Maybe the other candidate is trying to say that Allen favors the jews and doesn't like the blacks, but I think that is a long stretch to make. Then again, a significant number of the voters aren't the brightest bulbs in the chandelier and will vote based upon what they see and hear on TV and will not research the issue further.
Me, I cannot stand any of the candidates in Maryland, with maybe the exception of Michael Steele. The fact that both of our Senators voted against making English the official language of the US pisses me off to no end. Not to mention that they are both anti gun and serious liberals.

Ya got that gregarat. The irish AND the chinese immigrants/debtor-slaves were used any time they "expected" losses (Like a railroad bridge where usually at lease half a dozen men died in construction a week)

I hope my grand children don't apologize for what I do, wouldn't want them to.
H@##, this is like have ancestors of Sitting Bull & Crazy Horse apologize to George Armstrong Custer's decendants for killing him at Little Big Horn. I like the old saying," The more you stir Sh*#, the more it stinks !" All well, maybe some day their decendents will apologize to my decendents for using up the welfare system, instead of working. These are not only just blacks, there's whites, as well as other races that are willing and able to work, but wouldn't because they are lazy and want handouts.. I'm all for the Welfare System, when it's used by people that need it, but it gripes my A#@ when healthy individuals, get everything handed to them on a silver platter, and have more children, because it's not that they are wanted or loved, it add more money to their welfare checks. See how one things leads to another. I apologize for running off at the mouth !!

Just remeber everytime someone apologises or changes a name of a bridge, school or bans a confederate flag, its ammunition for the African American restitution Act.....Apologise for nothing and fight against any name changes...if you dont its gonna cost ya....
