Exclamation Another big Ohio buck

Jonathan Schmucker killed this buck on opening day of bow season in Adams county, Ohio. It has a 24" inside spread, and 33 scorable points. Must be nice! LOL!

Not sure if I could close my mouth enough to shoot at something like that....a friend of mine has one that looks like that he took a few years ago in Hookstown,Pa that he keeps in the attic. His wife said it is too big and ugly for the wall. I can sit inside the rack. Only his 8pt hangs in living room. What does she know anyhow?

Yeah, Chad Martin for MMOutfitters sent me a few pictures of this old boy. He said it grossed 305". IF the score is true, you are looking at the new world record. I assume it's no hoax since the 2nd "M" in MMOutfitter is McCoy and look at the sign!

He said this was shot 2 miles from their property.

Actually I looked it up on Boone and Crockett and here's what they said:

History in the Making
October 14, 2006
This buck, taken this fall by Amish hunter John Schmucker in Adams County, Ohio, looks as if it could be one of the largest ever taken in that state - or anywhere else for that matter. An unofficial green score puts this incredible deer at near 295 as a non-typical, with 36 scorable points.
With racks this complex, determining the typical frame can be a chore. Verification of the scoring procedure, once the 60 days is up, will be crucial to make sure this fantastic rack gets every eighth of an inch he deserves - no more, no less.
