Hunting/Weather

So far this year is a mess as far as the weather is going.
We were trying to find elk in 80 degree weather and then it went to the 20's for a few days and now back into the 60's +.
This seems to be messing with the patterns of the animals also and hunting has really been a challange to say the least.

I hunted in 80 weather, and then in a foot of snow two days later. I know the early ice chased the ducks out of MN early, and they don't seem to come back when it opens up again.

Say, when are you and your daughter going to be chasing elk again this fall ? Hope she gets one.

It opens again in December and I am hoping for a ton of snow.
I was up in some elk country two days ago hunting hunting mountain lions and saw one elk sign and that was high and in heavy timber.
