A-Bolt 284 Winchester

The other week I bought an A-Bolt 'micro-medallion' 284 Win in 'like new' condition. It has a 20" barrel and topped with a vari-x-III 1.75-6 scope. If I didn't have my 308 all ready to go on my MI deer hunt I think this 284 would go. I didn't know much about a 284 win a few weeks ago but have been getting up to speed. It's to bad the round is so scarce. I already have 100 cases, dies, & bullets for reloading. I see where Browning chambered the A-Bolt in 284 in the 1989+ timeframe. I also think the 284 with some mid level loadings may be a good youth round.

After many years of 308 contentment I am a new 284 win fan.
