Another Gun??

Hey Rocky or anyone that has experience with a Taurus... Raging Bull Taurus to be exact. Have found one in as new condition in 454 Casull. Wondering if this caliber will also shoot the 45 colt cartridge. Having no experience with these new fangled calibers I'm not sure. Also what do y'all think of the gun itself? Approximate value in as new condition? Shot 17 times. Thanks for your help. Can probably trade even up for one of my Rem 513T DCM rifles

Yes you can shoot .45 Colt ammo in it. I have one and have had no trouble with it, but have heard of 2 guys that have had trouble with Tarus repair shop. The gun is actually a Rageing Pussy cat. With 300 gr. bullet is has less recoil than some of my .44 mag. with target loads, no way close to hunting loads in a .44 mag. in any of them. I really don`t know what they are worth now as I got mine when they first came out, but would guess around $600 for one in new condition.

I've never even fired a .454, skeet. So I can't advise you there. But when I worked at the gun store, I never had a lick of trouble with Taurus service. It was superb, as a matter of fact. But anything can have a hiccup, I suppose.

The guns are solid, the warranty is great and the .454/.45 Colt ability is certainly versatile.
