Had elk for the 1st time
I ate my first meal of elk last night. Very tasty I must say. This one was given to us, so there's no story or pictures to go with it. It's not quite as tender as venison in my neck of the woods, but I did enjoy it quite a bit.

Dam....now you're hooked! Tastes even better when you've sweated it off a mountain......field rule #1....no elk is ever drug down hill!LOL
