Wow, What A Game.

Three cheers for Boise State. I still don't believe my eyes. They were terrific. If they do everything at that school like they do football, it must be one hell of a school.

A giant pat on the back to them. Far out.

I thought the game was over when they threw an interception for a touchdown with 2 minutes left in the game. It didn't look like their offense could get anything going during the second half. If Boise could have gotten their offense rolling in the second half, the game would have been long gone and Oklahoma would have been SOL. However, after stuttering for most of the second half, Boise was good for the final drive, the overtime drive, and the 2 point conversion. That game was insane.

Without a doubt, the best bowl game I've seen in a while. Great game to watch.

I woke up the whole house watching the end of that game. Unbelievable. I thought for sure that Boise had snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. I bet Okla. feels pretty low after getting beat by not one, but two of the most well known backyard gadget plays ever.

The hook and ladder play was insane. For that to work out, you need a lot to happen. For instance, you need Oklahoma's defense to back up to the first down line to ensure the catch is even possible. You need the catch to be made, you need the second receiver to come around at the right time, you need the defense to over pursue, and you need the second guy to catch the ball and run it in for the touchdown because after that play was finished there was only 7 seconds on the clock. To me, that play was incredible.

Regarding the touchdown in OT, that wasn't too much of a gadget play. They needed 3 or 4 yards for a first down, so they brought in a runner. Florida does it all the time. However, the runner ended up throwing on this occassion. Florida has done the same thing.

The 2 pt conversion in OT wasn't that surprising. It was a draw to the weak side after loading up the strong side with 3 receivers and faking the pass out there.

I thought Boise just got too conservative towards the end of the second half. If they had been a little more aggressive and used a little better clock management, they would have easily won the game.
