Avalanche

A coumple of hours ago, had a avalanche blocking US40 from Denver to Woodland Park....took an unknown number of vehicles with it. Some have been recovered by Alpine Rescue Teams!!This is on Berthod Pass. Got sketchey info as of now.Got some good SAR teams in the area, will hope for the best!
Any of you heading for ski country...for Gods Sake, BE CAREFUL...it only takes a heart beat to go sour!

Looks like only 2 cars went over, 1 injury and 6 rescued.....
the Gods were kind!

Total of 8 pulled from cars, they were lucky, had a number of motorists behind them that were equipped with shovels and probes, they started digging before an Alpine Team arrived....bout 15 minutes!
