Kev, there are any number of label-making programs out there, or you can even do it in Word.
That being the case, I've never downloaded any pre-made ones. I just design my own.

Kev,
I make up my own loading labels on a piece of paper about twice the size of the small labels packed in the bullets boxes from Hornady, Sierra, etc. I list the date, component data and the arm loaded for. At the shooting bench, I note the results on the target for reference and confirmation of the load and arm's performance. Adam

Count me in as another Cheapo here, I make my own up in word and have a stack pre-made where I just write in my 'soup ingredients', Waidmannsheil, Dom.

I guess I fall into that cheapskate...er I mean "frugal"...category also.
I have some pre-printed stick ons someone gave me years ago that I use on my "premium" reloads but for the most part I have several hundred old business cards that have an old address on them so I just write on them and stick them in the box with "run of the mill" reloads. Riposte PS: One of my current "rainy day" projects is to come up with a form like Rocky mentions which will print Scope Dope for a particular rifle and load that will print on some of those printer ready business and index card forms you get at Office Depot. Now if only I had time to do that!

I use a Brother P Touch label maker and 3/4" 'black on white' label tape. Makes nice labels.

I use a lot of Avery sticky labels. They have a 2x4" model (#5163 or 8463) that's ideal for load data or scope dope. Lately, I found an even cheaper source for the same label. www.zintl.com Their number for this label is 34205
I use Labels Unlimited software, but Word, Word Perfect, Ultimate Label Maker, My Advanced Label Designed and LabelPro packages also work fine. You might even be able to fins freeware or shareware at download sites like www.tucows.com

HUM, I guess I`m the cheapest here. I`ve got a box full of lables I got out of bullet boxes that I didn`t need at the time so I just use some of them when I need lables. Sometimes I have to write small, but that just saves ink.

I use 2" wide white masking tape from the wal Mart for about a buck a roll. Cut off what you want, write on it and stick it to the box.
Almost forgot, I also make my own target's on my printer and re-use them. Turn the target over and flatten out the old bullet holes. Them a small piece of masking tape and it's a new targey. If you hit the aiming point, same thing and turn it over again and color the thing with a felt tip marker. |
