Your gonna love this one

Becky had her first day back at work today, yesterday she had to go to the office under the guise of signing her papers to come back...they had a huge surprise party for her.....thousands and thousands of dollars and gift cards for them to refurbish what they lost in the fire.....and I am taking very nice stuff....so this am she walks outside to start her first day at work, and bam...her car is gone, stolen from the front yard...now keep in mind it has been in the shop for a month for damages caused by the fire and we just got it back.......you know that old old saying if the girl didnt have bad luck she wouldnt have any luck at all....I am almost embarrassed to write this crap....maybe I have been blessed too long and its our turn? What do you think?????you know that old adage "God never gives you more than you can handle" when I got this message about the car, my whole insides deflated...I know all of us have been thru trials and tribulations, I just thought we might get a break in between....

Very sad.

I'm afraid I don't see too much going on in the world that improves my view about our species. Your friend has definitely had a bad run of luck. I won't say anything like "it can't last for ever" as I have seen some people that that old cliche apparently doesn't apply to.

For here sake I hope that was the last of it. One thing is for sure, good friends make tough times a lot easier to get through.

Actually it should be more along the lines of "God never gives you more than HE can handle."

One thing. Don't pray for patience. The Bible says the Lord gives us patience through tribulation. Ergo don't pray for trouble.

We will pray for ya.

Thank God, that Becky can even go back to work. You might read Psalms 116 and 125. I know I told you I wouldn't do this to you anymore, but I thought it might help. Still praying everyday for you and your family and Becky's well being. God Bless you all.

a note from a good friend

Hi Valerie,
Your email made me so sad. No one likes to hear about someone they care about is going through rough times. I know what it's like. God gives us these times to strengthen us. If the roads had no bumps, we wouldn't learn anything. I'm sure this will turn around to be a positive no matter how bad it sounds. I know the fire was horrible but look at all the love that has been shown you and your family because of it. We've all learned from her experience. It's given us an opportunity to count our blessing and take advantage of a chance to help another. It's brought out kindnesses that otherwise might have laid dormant. The things they lost will be replaced. New memories will be made and in the long run what seems so terrible will be a blessing in disguise. If the car is not replaced, they can definitely count on additional help from us! God will provide. Be happy! At least you know God is working in your lives!
We love you all so very much! We will be praying for all of you!
hugs, Mary & Glenn
