20/20 & John Stossel

John Stossel was out busting myths tonight, and one of them was that gun control stops violent crime. Stossel supported us on this one. He said that it is a complete myth that gun control stops violent crime. I almost fell out of my chair.

Edit - I don't know how to edit the title of the thread, so here goes: I mistook Stossel for Geraldo when I posted this, but I went back and tried to fix what I could. When I initially thought it was Geraldo, I almost fell out of my seat, then realized it wasn't. That is how often I watch TV. I cannot even distinguish Stossel from Geraldo.

That's not the first time Stossel's said that, I'm pleased to say.
I'm not sure what is the connection to that paragon of journalistic integrity (yes, I'm being sarcastic), Geraldo Rivera , though....

I think Stossel's included tha tin one of his books, too. I thought this thread was something about Geraldo Revolver, or Gerry Rivers or whoever he is these days?
