The Fallen
Let's all take a moment and remember the nine Carolina Fire Fighters that lost their lives doing their job!
God hold those in thy hand that suit up daily and prepare to give their lives for others. May they rest in peace. Dan

Thanks for posting this Dan, I haven't built my courage up enough to read up on the details of the fire yet, I will later. Right now we can pray for their families, I'm sure there will be a way to contribute later.

There is, or certainly should be, a strong and common bond that exists among all those who have chosen public safety as their life's work.
The photo below, taken after a tragic car show accident in Tennessee that took six young lives, illustrates my point very well. I share in your grief and sadness.

I read a bit about that tragedy. It was terrible.
My thoughts are with the families of the fallen firefighters. |
