Hornady - Formerly Stoney Point

Guess I was sleeping, didn't know Hornady acquired the Stoney Point OAL and modified cases. In the process of getting ready to get my loads down for the 300 WinMag and needed a modified case -- am picky so was looking for Stoney Point -- Hornady name now, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Dom

If your interested you can modify your own cases. Buy a 5/16x36tpi tap and you can be done in a few minutes. Works great if you have any Wildcats.

Won't work on small base carts. 22 Hornet and such, you need the adapter for that. One of these days I'll find a tap size for that. I need something that works for my 19 Calibers.

I love them, small amounts of powder and accurate as heck.

Best wishes, Bill

Thanks Billy, that was my Plan B, but found the case on Cabela's for 5 bucks. I thot I had all the mod cases I needed, but that was before I got carried away and thot I needed a 300. That hornet adapter does work, WH Dom.
