Question 100 Atr!

Should the forces of 'good luck' vs. 'bad luck' give me a break and I get picked up for a government job in Oklahoma or Texas, I will need a rifle.

I usually get used rifles, but have had a few lemons over the years, but I was looking on Wally Worlds web page I saw this:

100 ATR Bolt-Action Rifle Wood 308 $315.17

101 ATR Bolt-Action Synthetic New Break-Up 30-06 $308.32

Never heard of these, does any one know of them, or even seen one?

I think most of the WallyWorlds around here have quit selling guns but you can always special order.

If you have trouble finding a job give me a shout. I'll get you a job on a drilling rig. Pays a lot more than a government job.

From the way it looks in the picture it is a Savage action and should be a very good gun. The nice thing about Savage actions is that you can buy another barrel and change barrels yourself, if you have any machinal ability and pay attention to head spaceing.

Hey Jon, Yeller is correct as far as i know.
Walley world around here sells ammo, and smokepoles, but no regular firearms.

Or at least not at the ones close by that i use. (midwest city/del city)

However, i can talk to soem people and see what kind of prices i can find you down at brigadoons (milsurp).

Mark and Rita run the place, great people too.

If i remember i'll see what mark says for a 100atr, but i wont have a reply till probably saturday afternoon my time.

Cheap guns etc

Heck the Wally World in Cody has Rem 700 with the Synthetic stocks for 325.00 That is really cheap too. That ATR really isn't a bad gun for the money either.

OK Jon, mark siad off the top of his head, it would be in the $300 range.

He's not ordered one in, so he'll have to check his suppliers, but i can promise you it'll be less, mark almost always gives figures on the highside if he isnt sure.

That way if it's high, people are prepared, if it comes in cheaper, then everyone is always happy.
