Finally, we have snow in PA.

The two-week rifle deer season has a week to go and then the Traditional Muzzleloader season opens the day after Christmas.

It is not too cold, but the snows have finally arrived for a real nostalgic season. I have three favorite flinters: .45, .50 and .54 caliber and all will get a trek into the woods.

Swift,

Where are you in PA? I am in Tioga County and will trek afield as a Longhunter-properly attired.

Adam,

Shippensburg is where we call home.

As I kid I hunted many a day in Potter Co. as that is where we have our camp. Just haven't been up that way for a few yrs (for deer that is).

After gun season is over I'll be toting the flinter lookin for a freezer deer.

Our front stuffer season started this week. Goes till then end of the year. Planning on going out Friday as we are supposed to get snow Thursday. Have a inch or so on the ground so fresh white will help.
