A buddy of mine put down a small doe that was injured and a couple days later saw a monster whitetail buck just standing in the open waiting to be taken. He did the right thing putting down an injured animal but was kicking himself a little, too.

Wow is all I can say! I feel for him not getting a big trophy buck but that is a trophy in the freak class all to itself. Congrats to your Dad!
