Hello Dan, Merry Christmas to you too. My mom was born and raised in Colorado, Blackhawk to be exact. Have fun at the range, wish I was going with.

A couple nights ago I was at the Lions Club meeting in my little home town and at dinner I caught myself sitting next to and right across from two gentlemen who found themselves in the middle of the Battle of the Bulge 63 years ago that night. I had a hard time containing myself when I heard people complain about how cold it was that night when I thought back on what those men and their fellow soldiers went through. Very humbling.

Merry Christmas Dan and everyone else, we've got much to be thankful for.

Thanks, Pockets...man, she wouldn't recognize Blackhawk....after legalized gambling, all the towns up there have changed...Blackhawk/Central City... guess beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Still a pretty area. Bulge Vets...man, those are disappearing...rapidly!! I've been cold in Germany...never like those guys experienced!!!!We had better gear than WWII did.
You and yours have a merry and safe Christmas.
Dan

Yep everybody have a Merry Christmas. I haven't finished all my shopping yet, but I get around 11 days off in a row and I think I will see if I can't nab me a buck, about 400 squirrels, and time permitting a 500lb catfish. . . . . .

Thats a ditto for everyone too.. got my shopping done yesterday, and the wrapping too.

I am looking forward to a couple weeks off.. go and visit my folks, plus my brother & sister will be out. Try and chase the coyotes around, and maybe a little upland hunting as well.

Then off to Cuba for a week of sun & sand!
